SYNOPSIS
Two Universes is a raw and haunting exploration of a mind fractured by mental illness. The narrator recounts their descent into a metaphorical deep, dark cave five miles underground, a place of isolation, fear, and despair. Suddenly confronted by a flicker of light — an alternate universe that may or may not be real — they find themselves juggling two realities: one of relentless darkness, and one of fragile, elusive illumination. The monologue navigates the tension between these worlds, examining the fragile boundary between hope and illusion, sanity and despair, as the narrator confronts the uncertain truth of their existence.
