SYNOPSIS
At a buffet dinner date, Jodi and Tom arrive armed with nervous excitement—and their AI assistants—using technology to guide everything from appearance and portion size to drink choices and conversation. As both quietly consult their phones for reassurance, the audience watches two people trying desperately to connect while outsourcing their instincts, emotions, and decisions to artificial intelligence. What begins as a light, comic exploration of modern dating slowly reveals a deeper question: when technology tells us how to behave, feel, and impress, are we still capable of genuine human connection? A Date with AI is a sharp and funny reflection on intimacy in an age where even love comes with an algorithm.
