Two fairy tales collide… and you decide what happens next!

SYNOPSIS

In this hilarious fairy-tale mash-up pantomime, two beloved stories collide when it turns out that Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood are the very same girl.

Poor Cindy spends her days doing endless chores while her lazy sisters dream about attending the Prince’s grand ball. Just when it seems she’ll never escape the kitchen, her Fairy Godmother appears with a magical promise — but first Cindy must deliver a basket of goodies to her Granny who lives deep in the forest.

On her journey she encounters the sly and scheming Big Bad Wolf, who quickly learns that a royal ball means something even better than one granny… a castle full of delicious humans. With the help of his hopeless assistant, the wolf hatches a plan to sneak into the ball, tie up the Prince, and turn the royal celebration into the biggest buffet the forest has ever seen.

Meanwhile, with a little magic (and perhaps a very stylish red hood), Cindey transforms and makes her way to the ball. But when she comes face to face with the wolf’s wicked scheme — and notices the Prince looking suspiciously wolfish — she flees into the night, leaving everyone wondering who the mysterious girl really was.

With the Prince determined to find the brave heroine who saved him, the search begins. The ugly sisters try their luck, but only one girl fits the famous glass slipper. In the end, the truth is revealed, the wolf is chased away, and everyone gathers at Granny’s house for a well-earned picnic — proving that sometimes the best fairy tales happen when two stories become one.

Full of audience participation, songs, silliness, and surprises, this choose-your-own-adventure pantomime is a magical romp through the woods where nothing is quite what you expect… and you’d better watch out, because the wolf might be right behind you!

Small Ask...

Writing a play requires imagination, stubborn persistence, and an unhealthy amount of coffee. It also involves blood, sweat, tears… and occasionally arguing with fictional characters who refuse to say their lines properly. If you’ve enjoyed what you’ve read, please consider making a small donation. Think of it as shouting the playwright a coffee while he wrestles the next idea onto the page.

Every little bit helps keep the stories coming.
